“STORIES with PAW PALS“ – The Highland Public Library will soon be partnering with a certified therapy dog which is sure to be “fur”tastic! This widely received program pairs a child with a certified therapy dog for reading practice for a scheduled 15 minute session.  Such partnerships encourage children to read more freely and without criticism, which can result in improved reading fluency and higher self-esteem!  BEDTIME STORY TIME will be held the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.  Space is limited!!!  Please sign up on Events Calendar up to one month prior.

Learn Basic Sewing with Arlene.   This is a 6 week program where 2 children at a time have the opportunity to learn hands on and is designed for children 8 and up.   For more information and to go on a wait list please call 691-2275 ext. 10.
