JOIN US FOR A 2ND JUNIOR ROOM BOOK CLUB on APRIL 16TH ……..Please join us for our new book club for kids in grades 4-6. It will be held the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm.. APRIL 16th’s book selection is The Lonely Lake Monster – The Imaginary Veterinary – Book 2 by Suzanne Selfors. Please read the book selection before the discussion group. If you need for us to get a copy of the book for you, please let us know by calling the circulation desk. Registration is required.
LULA’S BOOK CLUB IS BACK APRIL 22ND AT 7:00....In recognition of National Poetry month, Lula’s book selections are Insectlopedia and Mammalabilia both by Doug Florian. Participants will partake in reading aloud followed by a group discussion. In addition to encouraging children to read more freely and without criticism, we hope to enhance reading comprehension and open dialogue, which can help improve reading fluency and promote a higher self-esteem! This program is intended for ages 5-11. Space will be limited. Register here!!
