 DreamTime StoryTime – Will be held the first Thursday of the month at 6:30….Bring your teddy bear and come in your favorite jammies for stories and a craft. Register here for the September 3rd session.

EXPLORING STORIES AND CRAFT TIME FOR TODDLERS ages 2 & 3….Will begin on Wednesday, September 23rdWednesdays at 11:00.….Join us as we as we enter the world of literacy by exploring stories, fingerplays, songs, activities and playtime and a fun craft….REGISTER HERE.

Babes in Bookland. – will begin on September 25th—-Fridays at 11:00 ….Babies and books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, bounces, and more! Please join us as we explore some of the first steps in early literacy awareness, for ages 0-24 months. Will be held at the First Presbyterian Church. REGISTER HERE.

Preschool Story Fun for ages 4 & 5...will begin on September 25th….Fridays at 12:30…..Join us as we explore stories, fingerplays, songs, activities and playtime. This story time will help foster language and literacy, mathematical and scientific thinking, and social development….REGISTER HERE.

 JUNIOR ROOM BOOK CLUB for grades 3-6… Thursday, September 24th at 4:00…This month’s book selection is Graphic Novel Squish No. 1 : Super Amoeba by Jennifer Holm. Please read the book before the discussion group. If you need for us to get a copy of the book for you, please let us know by calling the circulation desk. Register here.

 LULA’S BOOK CLUB – NEXT SESSION TO BE DETERMINED .Participants will partake in reading aloud with Lula our dog volunteer, followed by a group discussion. In addition to encouraging children to read more freely and without criticism, we hope to enhance reading comprehension and open dialogue, which can help improve reading fluency and promote a higher self-esteem!  This program is intended for ages 5-11.  

 

Please note that SOME of our story times will be held at the First Presbyterian Church located next to the library.

BABYSITTING WORKSHOP POSTPONED ***CALL THE LIBRARY TO ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST…DATE/DATES TO BE DETERMINED

The Babysitting Basics Program was created to teach those skills necessary to become a responsible sitter. This program will be taught by Linda Showers, RN.
