JOIN US FOR our JUNIOR ROOM BOOK CLUB on Thursday, MAY 21st……..Please join us for our new book club for kids in grades 4-6. It will be held the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm.. The book selection for MAY 21st is GUINEA DOG BY PATRICK JENNINGS. Please read the book selection before the discussion group. If you need for us to get a copy of the book for you, please let us know by calling the circulation desk. Registration is required.
LULA’S BOOK CLUB IS BACK MAY 20TH AT 7:00....This month Lula will be surprising us with her book choices!!!. Participants will partake in reading aloud with Lula our dog volunteer, followed by a group discussion. In addition to encouraging children to read more freely and without criticism, we hope to enhance reading comprehension and open dialogue, which can help improve reading fluency and promote a higher self-esteem! This program is intended for ages 5-11. Space will be limited.Register here!
